The major part of the medical equipment of Dr. Zainoel Abidin (province hospital of Aceh) was destroyed by the earthquake and flood.

Knorr-Bremse Global Care e.V. provided four operation lamps, a dragger anaesthesia equipment, one multi-purpose X-ray apparatus 500 MO and one mammograph.
