Global Care’s projects originally focused on reconstruction measures in those regions of South-East Asia affected by the tsunami. In 2006 it then extended these activities to include Africa; and a year later it became involved in projects in India, China and Cambodia. Since January 2008 educational projects in Central America were granted. Global Care also runs projects in the vicinity of its sites – in Europe mainly in Germany, plus one project in Russia.
