Rebuilding program for the community of Kalmunai
Project description:
Knorr-Bremse Global Care is supporting the municipality of Kalmunai with a comprehensive infrastructure program aimed at restoring or improving many aspects of community life. For example, funding is being provided to reconstruct a supervised youth centre, build a swimming pool and expand a plant nursery. In addition to this, the money is being used to equip a community sports ground as well as local hospitals and schools.
Location: Kalmunai.
Status: Project start February 2006. In September 2006, all sub-projects were completed. Project is completed.
